How To Use Us for Transfers

Have your dealer request our FFL/SOT for transfer if they do not already have it on file. You may request it if you provide their receiving email.  We only accept transfers from licensed FFL’s, any firearms received not from an FFL will be returned to the sender.

  • Once the package is shipped, you and your dealer are responsible for tracking it. Lost packages are not our responsibility.

  • You MUST have a valid, current form of identification in order to pick up firearms. While the State of Texas has given people extensions on Driver's License expirations, the ATF has not. Without a valid Drivers License or License to Carry, we cannot transfer. This is not our policy, but a requirement of the ATF.

  • If you do not have valid Texas ID at the time of pickup or your background check is denied, the firearm will be returned to the seller.

  • FFL fees listed above supersede all other websites listing our FFL fees.

  • Firearms not picked up within a 14 day period without prior agreement are subject to a storage fee of $10 a day.

  • Federal law dictates you must be the one to pick up the firearm.  You may not legally send anyone else to pick up the firearm or fill out the paperwork on your behalf.  Your name must match what is on the packing slip.

  • 407 Gun Range is not responsible for damaged or missing items.

  • Customer assumes the condition of all firearms “as is” from the sender, seller, etc.

** Any firearm that has not been picked up within 365 days without prior agreement will be forfeited to the shop. **
